Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (California License #128136) with over a decade of experience in public accounting and taxation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance), a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and a Master of Business Taxation, all from the University of Southern California.

Michael began his career at a regional CPA firm in Los Angeles, focusing on tax planning for small business clients. Building on that foundation, he went on to work in startups, where he built robust accounting systems from the ground up and helped teams scale financial operations. This hands-on experience led him to Controller roles at more established companies across the healthcare, gaming, and SaaS industries, where he further deepened his expertise in financial operations and strategic planning.

Along the way, Michael discovered a deep passion for working with small businesses. Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact, he launched his own CPA firm to provide affordable, high-quality accounting and tax planning services tailored to their unique needs. Michael believes in the power of small businesses to create jobs, support families, and strengthen communities. Having worked closely with small business owners and entrepreneurs at every stage of his career, Michael understands the challenges they face in managining limited resources while striving to make smart financial decisions that drive growth.

Michael lives in Seattle, WA. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and playing poker.
